Beat the Heat! Are You Prepared to Work in Record-Breaking Temperatures?

On July 21, 1930 Millsboro, Delaware experienced a record-breaking temperature of 110 degrees Fahrenheit! Check out the other record highest temperatures by state.
They say there could be some record-breaking temperatures this week/weekend. In fact much of the Central and Eastern United States is under Excessive heat watches, warnings and advisories. Keep up with the current weather forecast at http://www.weather.gov/
Anyone working in the heat needs to understand the signs and symptoms of heat stress. People joke about how sickening it is when the temperature and humidity rises, but the truth is the heat can make you sick – even fatally so.
