Forklift Safety Training Available On Demand
A second Video On Demand forklift safety training course is available called: “Forklift: Forklift Safety“.
The OSHA regulation, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178, covers the safety requirements for the use of powered industrial trucks. This training can be used to help fulfill OSHA training requirements.
The course covers the basics of how a forklift works, as well as information on conducting an equipment inspection and basic operating tips. Knowing how to safely operate a forklift is not merely useful for fulfilling OSHA requirements, by using safe work practices you are help preventing potentially serious or fatal accidents/injuries.
This course is also available as a Mastery Advantage course, providng more interactions for the learner, as well as the potential to earn CEUs.

Our online courses are only for those seeking to complete the formal instruction portion of their forklift training. According to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.78, all powered industrial truck drivers must also complete practical, hands-on training. Practical training (or live training) consists of demonstrations performed by a trainer and practical exercises by the trainee. Once the trainee has completed their formal and practical training they will be given an additional evaluation by their employer.
Powered Industrial Truck Operators may use this course before or after their practical training. If you are seeking places for practical training, look for these options in your area:
