Safety Awareness at your Workplace

Demonstrate a commitment to safety by providing your employees with safety training most pertinent to your workplace. Accidents happen at work all the time, and they have the potential of making a major impact on your organization. Accidents may result in the hassle of incident reports, employees missing a few days of work, or worst of all a fatality.
Accidents are often preventable if the proper safety measures are taken into consideration. In fact, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, “In the 40 years since the start of OSHA we’ve seen a 65% reduction in occupational injury and illness, that’s no accident.” Following safety regulations and properly training your employees creates a safe work environment and lowers the risk for accidents to occur.

The Video On Demand course, “Safety Awareness II Real Accidents, Real Stories” provides four accounts of workplace accidents, the consequences, and what could have been done to avoid the incident. These stories help provide examples about how crucial it is to be conscious of safe behaviors.
Battle complacency and re-energize your workforce to incorporate safety measures into their everyday work practices.
