Course Overview
Ergonomic risk factors can lead to MSDs (Musculoskeletal Disorders), and these types of injuries can result from many kinds of jobs. Ergonomic programs help reduce the risk of injuries. This training focuses on practices to help improve ergonomics with muscle and skeletal functions used while at work. Improving Ergonomic work stations and avoiding repetitive tasks that lead to MSDs are part of the work practice controls outlined in this multimedia presentation. Neutral positions are reviewed in this training, for protecting and maintaining proper posture. The training demonstrates several ways to reduce ergonomic illnesses and injuries. Use this course to prepare employees to recognize symptoms of an MSD and to use safe work practices to prevent one from occurring.
