How to Promote Ethical Behavior at your Workplace

Whether you are in a leadership position at your job or not, ethical behavior is an expectation at all times.  Ethical behavior is so important many employers include a code of ethics as part of new hire training. There are even websites entirely devoted to ethics one site’s mission is “…the advancement of high ethical standards and practices in public and private institutions.”
The definition of ethics varies slightly based on the source you use to define it. But one thing is common; ethics is all about doing what is right even when it is not easy. Ethics At Work even takes it a bit further by stating ethics is “right, fair, honest and legal.”
In the streaming video training 10 Behaviors of an Ethical Leader a list of behaviors associated with ethical leaders is provided and can be used as reference when you find yourself at an ethical crossroad.
